Join us Saturday, April 6th, 2019, for our 20th Welding Day Camp, co-taught by Kelly DeWitt and Travis Norman of KKDW. Class will take place at the KKDW Store, an 85-year-old former blacksmithing shop in Bertram, TX.
For those interested in learning the art of welding, our Welding Day Camps are the perfect introduction to the basics. We've had folks attend who are serious about starting their own welding business; we've also had groups of friends who are looking for a fun activity to do together. Whatever your interest, over the course of the class you will create your own piece of furniture and learn the ins and outs of tools and techniques from bandsaws, welders, grinders, and more.
You'll also leave with an illustrated booklet containing distilled class information, including notes on everything covered throughout the day as well as resources. All skill levels welcome--from some welding experience to "I've never held a power tool." Don't feel intimidated--seriously! We'll start with the basics, and encourage attendees to move at their own pace and explore the techniques they're interested in. For this class, you'll create your own bench. All equipment and supplies will be provided, as well as light lunch and a bbq dinner for everyone to enjoy & revel in their accomplishment afterwards.
KKDW Welding School has a no refund, no credit policy. You can read more about our policies and FAQ here. Please confirm that this class date works for you before purchasing.
The workshop is capped at 6 people to ensure everyone has an opportunity to feel confident about welding and leave with all their questions answered.
